Who we are

WHWT LLC’s Founder and President, Paul Armstrong, is a North Carolina Certified Public Accountant and has over thirty years of accounting experience that includes roles with a big four public accounting firm, mid-sized multinational companies as well as larger publicly traded and  private equity multinational companies.  In addition to his professional accounting career, Paul served in the United States Marine Corps as an air traffic controller.  Some say controlling is in his DNA.  

Paul learned in both the Marine Corps and throughout his professional career that there isn’t much that can’t be accomplished by a highly motivated team with a clear mission and the right leadership.  His simple approach towards ensuring success includes employing a servant leadership philosophy that ensures his teams know he is there working for them (not the other way around). He has the ability to work collaboratively across an organization while also cutting through the noise and helping people focus on what is most important . Finally, he believes in having as much fun as possible along the way.
